†These items weigh one-quarter this amount when made for Small characters. Containers for Small characters also carry one-quarter the normal amount.

Mechanical arm: This arm is made of a criss-crossing wood bars and can extend 5 feet in front of the user. On the end is a three-fingered iron "hand" that opens and closes. It is the size of a human hand when made for Medium characters, and a gnomish hand for Small characters. It takes one action to extend or retract the arm, or open and close the hand.

Pole, 10-foot, retractable: This pole is split into three sections that extend and lock into place to form a 10 foot long pole. When retracted, it is 4 feet long, with two 3 foot long sections inside it. It takes one round to construct.

Catapult, hand250 gp 1d620/x2 30 ft.20 lb.Bludgeoning Large

Catapult, hand: This weapon is designed to fire large things in a general direction with minimal accuracy. It is a spring-loaded tube about 3 feet long with a 6 inch diameter. Objects, such as rocks, pine cones, or weasels can be loaded inside and shot from the mouth. It only has a 30% chance of hitting the intended subject; otherwise it lands within 5 feet of the target (it will always hit the target on a critical threat). Anything within the cannon must also pass a DC 20 Reflex save (if appropriate) or take the same amount of damage as the target. It takes one round to load a hand catapult.

Treasure block80 gp1 lb.

Treasure block: A 1 ft. by 1 ft. block with a question mark on it and an open top. Once something is put in the top and the command word is given, the treasure block closes itself, and begins to float about 7 ft. off the ground.

When pressure is applied to the bottom (for example, from someone jumping underneath it and hitting their head on it), or a circular motion applied to the side (a spinning raccoon tail) , one item inside will pop out of the block (note that 100 gold pieces counts as 100 objects, although 100 gold pieces in a bag is one object). There is no other way to open a treasure block once it has been closed, and after all the objects have been expelled from the block, it closes and cannot be opened ever again. Treasure blocks are a Goomba's favorite storage place.
