Description

This spell creates a simple mental link between the caster and the target. A constant two-way flow of information reveals whether or not the other is on the same plane, if they are in need of help, and if they are willing to help.

For a summoner to use her ability, she must be linked to the creature using this spell. This spell does not grant any kind of summoning ability to other classes.

A creature that fails its save may attempt another save every year to try and remove the link, with a cumulative -2 penalty every year. Any spell that masks thoughts blocks the effect of this spell.

At no time may you bind more creatures than you have caster levels. The empheral dismiss spell cancels the effect of this spell.

If the caster attempts to scry a creature she is bound to, she gets a +4 bonus on the check.
